I am a fully qualified professional psychotherapist, as well as a member of the Human Givens Institute and the National Council of Hypnotherapists (NCH), with a proven track record in providing an extremely painless form of therapy that takes the fear out of painful experiences and allows people to move forward with their lives. By walking through a traumatic experience with your eyes closed, with you playing the event over in your mind like a movie, the once-painful memory quickly becomes less significant – and in no time at all. Over the course of just a few sessions, we take the fear out of the traumatic event and allow you to process it as a normal memory, rather than a fear-based reflex, meaning you can move through life with that burden no longer resting on your shoulders. Most clients, including NHS staff who have suffered COVID-19 related trauma, only normally need two to six sessions to feel like themselves again when they work with me.
Friendly Approach
Many people, especially those of a younger persuasion, find it hard to connect with their therapist. The client-practitioner relationship is so important, yet most individuals struggle to feel comfortable in their therapist’s presence and can’t get to the crux of an issue. I am not your conventional professional therapist; I never use psychobabble or beat around the bush. My style is to talk to you like a friend would – in a very normal, straight-talking way, speaking to you honestly and in plain language.
